Montour Area Recreation Commission and Talen Energy Announce Actions to Support the Current and Long-term Operation of the Montour Preserve
Talen Energy (Talen) and the Montour Area Recreation Commission (MARC) announced that they have taken additional steps to support the current and long-term operation of the Montour Preserve recreation area through an updated and enhanced lease agreement. The new agreement significantly extends the lease term, shifts the responsibility for certain capital improvement projects to Talen, and funds the Montour Preserve’s 2026 operating expenses.
