Berwick Blueprint Communities launched Berwick’s 2nd Friday's event in August 2026 as a way to bring people downtown, create opportunities for local creatives, and build more connections throughout the Greater Berwick community. Oct 15 - Bucknell Economics Professor Offers an Evening of Sufi Fusion at the Weis Center

The Weis Center will welcome Shahram Azhar and his Quartet on Thursday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Weis Center Atrium. The performance is titled, “From the Wound to the Dawn” and will be an evening of raag, thumri and ghazal. UNITED WAY’S “DIAPER DASH” KICKS OFF ACROSS FIVE COUNTIES

Susquehanna Valley United Way (SVUW) has once again launched its annual Diaper Dash. Throughout the month of October, their team will collect diapers and wipes so families have one less thing to worry about as the colder months approach. Individual Member Lynda Culver Shares Alice's Law Update

Alice’s Law moved forward this week when the Senate Aging and Youth Committee unanimously advanced Senate Bill 807 as amended. The bill would establish a statewide Older Adult Abuse Registry to help prevent individuals convicted of abusing older or care-dependent Pennsylvanians from moving between care settings without that history being known.
