Chamber accepting bids on property

The Chamber of Commerce will be moving into a new, collaborative space just a few blocks down Market Street in Bloomsburg this Summer. This building will include new opportunities for member programs and benefits. As part of that relocation, members are being given the first opportunity to bid on the Chamber’s existing property.

Bids are being accepted through Friday, April 28th. A winning bid must meet the reserve price. Details on the property and how to submit bid letters are listed below and may be downloaded here. Tours of the facility are available by appointment.

The Chamber’s new offices will be located between 6th and 7th streets in a four-story building being constructed by Community Strategies Group (CSG). In addition to the Chamber offices, the first floor will be home to the Susquehanna Valley United Way, Columbia County Housing and Redevelopment Authorities, and CSG. The space will also include a large meeting room for programs and seminars, temporary office space, and a volunteer hub for coordinating member projects. Construction is scheduled for completion in July with an open house being planned for the Fall.
